Thinking about riding your first Lake Taupo? Are you a beginner or a winner, or somewhere in between?
Whether you are an experienced cyclist or a beginner, come along to a great evening with The Mad Keen Cyclist, Gordon McCauley and Nathan Martin from Change Fitness.
We are excited to host this event on Tuesday 25 August with three inspirational speakers.
Nathan is an inspiration to many. Director of Change Fitness, he has been in the fitness industry for many years. Nathan’s journey first started when he was introduced to triathlon back in 2008. Crossing the finish line at Ironman NZ in 2010 was a key moment in Nathan’s journey to finding his purpose, his passion for life and ultimately happiness. Nathan has now completed 6 full Ironman events plus K2, the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge, and last year the Taupo Enduro (2 laps – 320km). He has also represented NZ as an age group triathlete in 2012.
Endurance sport has changed Nathan’s life. Now his focus is being a positive role model and inspiring others to also find their finish line. He and his wife Rose have set up “The Martin Charitable Trust” a non-profit organisation that is aimed at helping children in the lower decile areas of the Hutt Valley also find their finish line through sports and keeping active. Come along and hear Nathan’s story of CHANGE.
