Vehicle Salesperson

We’re looking for a dynamic sales professional who has the drive to succeed within a busy, multi-franchise dealership. Someone who prides themselves on providing great customer service and with an energy and passion for sales. You’ll be instrumental in guiding customers through their buying process, helping us stay ahead of the pack.

About the role:

  • You’ll be joining a strong team of over 140 staff. These roles will specialise in GWM or Mitsubishi, but you’ll be able to sell ANY of our used, demo and new cars including some of the world’s biggest car brands like Hyundai, Kia, OMODA, JAECOO, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, GWM, Isuzu and Renault.
  • Looking for a dynamic sales professional with proven sales experience in any industry who has the drive to succeed within a busy, multi-franchise dealership. Someone who prides themselves on excellent customer service with an energy and passion for sales.
  • Team player with the energy and motivation to grab opportunities and run with it. Strong negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and able to follow processes. High level of personal presentation.
  • Flexibility for weekend work as we’re open 7 days a week. Our sales team roster helps ensure coverage while supporting work-life balance.
  • Base plus commission with unlimited earning potential. Company car included and free parking.
  • Proven sales experience required. Automotive industry experience desirable but not required. Process and product training will be provided.
  • Current clean driver’s license required.
  • Must already live in NZ and be a NZ resident or have a valid open work visa.
  • Able to start this year.

Health & Safety Advisor

Are you passionate about fostering a positive health and safety culture? Do you enjoy working with a diverse team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our well-established, award-winning, family-run business in Lower Hutt.

About the role:

This part-time role offers some flexibility in hours for the right candidate. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in building a positive health and safety culture across the business. You’ll work closely with managers and employees to ensure a safe, supportive, and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and initiatives
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure health and safety practices are embedded across the business
  • Lead and facilitate health and safety committee meetings, fostering engagement and accountability
  • Monitor, report, and provide advice on health and safety performance and compliance
  • Work closely with the HR Manager on wellbeing initiatives to support the overall health and happiness of the team
  • Build strong relationships with a wide range of colleagues, ensuring open communication and trust

About You

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be a people-focused professional who enjoys building rapport and working collaboratively to provide guidance and education. You’ll have a proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in a health and safety advisory role
  • Practical working knowledge of NZ health and safety legislation and best practices
  • Skilled in developing policies and procedures and supporting managers in their implementation
  • Experience in identifying gaps and establishing effective controls
  • Adept in leading incident investigations and ensuring thorough follow-through
  • Skilled in leading health and safety committee meetings and driving engagement
  • Experience in risk management techniques and application in practical situations
  • Experience in injury management and return to work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others
