This is why we offer Mechanical Plus across most of our vehicles. Mechancial Plus provides you with the peace of mind of free mechanical cover for 5 or 10 years depending the age of your vehicle:
- 5 Year plan for Used vehicles*
- 10 Year plan for all vehicles still covered under Manufacturer’s Warranty*
New Vehicles
Our 10 year Mechanical Plus plan is available to purchasers of vehicles still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. It runs for up to 10 years from the vehicle’s date of first registration or up to 150,000km (whichever comes first). The Mechanical Plus plan for New Vehicles includes the duration of the Manufacturer’s Warranty to make up 10 years.
What’s included:
- $1,000 per claim
- $3,000 worth of claims over the term of the contract
- Covers most major internally lubricated components of the vehicle, plus the engine management computer, as listed in the brochure.
Used Vehicles
Our Mechanical Plus plan for Used Vehicles is available on our approved used vehicles. It runs for 5 years from the vehicle purchase date or up to 150,000km (whichever comes first).
What’s included:
- $1,000 per claim
- $3,000 worth of claims over the term of the contract
- Covers most major internally lubricated components of the vehicle, plus the engine management computer, as listed in the brochure.

Valid for vehicles purchased from Brendan Foot Supersite from 1 January 2021. Exclusions include, but are not limited to, new Mitsubishi vehicles covered by the Diamond Advantage Warranty. Servicing must be carried out at Brendan Foot Supersite service sites for the duration of the Mechanical Assurance Plan and throughout the Manufacturers Warranty.
