WOFs

Is your WOF due? Visit one of our four convenient service centres, and our certified WOF inspectors will make sure your car is road-ready. You can get a WOF for just $75 – the same price in all four locations. Show us your Gold Card to save 20%.

If you are suffering mechanical problems or issues with your vehicle, we will need to assess it for a repair.

Are you selling your car, or does it need a spring clean? Our car detailing specialists groom your car inside and out to make it look, smell, and feel amazing. Experience our unmatched attention to detail. Drop your car with us before work and pick it up at the end of the day. Three different grooming options are available at our Lower Hutt service centre.

Fixed Price Car Servicing

We offer hassle-free, fixed-price car servicing for cars not covered by a new car warranty. If this is your car, ask us about hassle-free, fixed-price servicing that you can also pay off with Afterpay.

After the service, you’ll get a ‘traffic light’ inspection form to know what work has been done and what we recommend you get sorted in the future.

If your car is European or American, there’s a bit more involved. Please call us on 04 587 0005 for a quote.

When you bring your car in for a fixed-price service, our team will do a 35-point safety inspection plus all the below checks:

  • Interior and exterior inspection of your car, including a road test
  • A thorough check under your car, including checking the condition of your tyres
  • A comprehensive brake test, including checking your shock absorbers, and suspension
  • An inspection of fluid levels and filters, we’ll top them up if they’re running low
  • Replacement of the engine oil and oil filter
  • If your car has a cambelt (or timing belt), we’ll let you know when it’s due for a change
  • A check that battery levels and the battery is in good shape
  • Every second year your brake fluid needs replacing. This will be $75 incl. GST and isn’t included as part of the fixed price servicing.

Night Car Servicing

Need to get your car serviced, but can’t spare time during the day? Yes? Then this is the service for you.

We’ll take care of whether you need a WOF or a service. Drop off your car by 4:30 pm, and your car will be ready by 8:00 am the next morning.

Available on the first Wednesday of every month at our Lower Hutt, Trentham, and Wellington City service centres. Exclusively for booked WOFs and services (sorry, not repair work).

Our service technicians will have your car serviced in just one hour.

While we service your car, relax in our customer lounge, enjoy free hot drinks, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Express servicing is available daily at our Lower Hutt service centre (sorry, not WOFs or repair work).

I haven't reached the distance stated on my service interval. Do I need to still service my car?

We recommend following your car manufacturer’s service plan.

If your service plan says every 12 months or every 15,000km, you’ll need to bring your car in for a service when you’ve had it for one year or when you reach 15,000km, whichever comes first. Even if you only drive 10,000km in a year, you need to get it serviced when you’ve had it for a year to keep your new car under warranty.

How much does a service cost?

When you buy a new car, we’ll give you the manufacturer’s recommended servicing plan and a cost estimate for your next service to help you budget.

If your car is outside the warranty or our Mechanical Plus™ plan, we offer a basic fixed-price service from $299*.

You can spread the cost with Afterpay. It’s free to join and helps you pay off costs over four easy, interest-free payments.

*Repair work is an extra cost.

How long does a service take?

A standard service usually takes 3-4 hours but varies.

Fixed-price servicing – Drop your car off at the start of the day or the afternoon, and it’ll be ready by the end of that day.

Express servicing – Your car will be serviced within the hour.

Night servicing – Drop your car off by the end of the day, and it will be ready to go by 8:00 am the next morning.

If your car needs repair, we’ll estimate the cost and the time it will take.

Can I have a courtesy car?

We’ll do our best to give you a courtesy car, but we can’t guarantee we’ll always have one available. Rent one of our cars for only $57.50 per day, and it includes a full tank of fuel that you don’t have to fill up when you give the car back.

Why do I need to service my car?

Keeping you moving and safe is our priority. An annual service checks that all your car’s oils, lubricants, and mechanical parts are in good shape and identifies anything that needs to be fixed.

If you service your car later than the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule, it can invalidate your new car warranty and your Brendan Foot Supersite Mechanical Plus™ plan (if applicable).

Our warranty team also check for any outstanding safety recalls, software updates, or service repairs and will make any necessary fixes at no extra cost.

Which models do you service?

We service all car makes and models at any of our four Brendan Foot Supersite locations – even if they are not BFS brands. If you’re not sure if we can help or where you should take your car for a service, call us on 04 568 1160.

How can I pay for my service?

We accept all payment types, including EFTPOS, all major credit cards, Afterpay, bank transfers and cash.

Can I wait while I get my car serviced?

Yes. You’re welcome to wait in our customer lounge. Enjoy free hot drinks and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Can I drop my car off after hours?

Yes. We have convenient and secure drop boxes for your key at all service centres.

Is my car still under warranty?

This will vary by make and model so if you’re not sure, get in touch and we’ll check for you.

Can I get a discount?

Sorry, we don’t offer a discount on servicing. But if you’re a Gold Card member, you can save 20% on your WOF. Show your Gold Card to our team when it’s time to pay.
