Built on a ladder-frame chassis and powered by a new 2.4L turbo-diesel producing 480Nm, the newest version of this seven seat, off-road legend comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission, Super Select 4WD with four different settings, seven drive modes and 230mm of ground clearance.

Inside, things have taken a big step forward too, with a more premium cabin dominated by twin 14.3-inch screens but still featuring the Pajero’s trademark triple-metre display. You’ll also get three zone climate control, wireless connectivity and a 3D surround-view camera which can display terrain directly infront of and beneath the Pajero, helping to naviagte steep slopes, rocks and any other obstacles you can throw at it.

It’s fitted out with top of the line safety tech including autonomous emergency braking, front cross-traffic alert and emergency steering assistance as well as eight airbags and Mitsubishi’s MI-PILOT system featuring adaptive cruise control.
