GET LOST

We are pleased to be working with brands that have made an effort to go beyond business as usual in order to assist both customers and the community in general. Hyundai NZ is a great example.

As well as offering reduced payment and interest only options for current finance customers who are experiencing difficulties, Hyundai is offering a 6-month payment break for new customers who purchase a vehicle through Hyundai Finance between 28 April 2020 and 31 July 2020, in the case of them losing their job due to COVID-19.

“We understand the extreme uncertainty created by the coronavirus and the anxiety experienced by many New Zealanders. When someone purchases a Hyundai, they don’t just buy a car, they buy into the Hyundai Ownership Experience, which is our way of saying we promise to look after them like they’re family. The Hyundai Assurance Programme is a great example of this,” said Andy Sinclair, Hyundai NZ General Manager.

“Hyundai Assurance means our customers will have one less thing to worry about if something unexpected happens to their employment status.”

Not only does the Hyundai Assurance Programme provide a 6-month payment break for new customers, Hyundai New Zealand will also cover interest payments during this time. The payment relief is available for all new customers who purchase their new vehicle from a Hyundai dealer and finance it through Hyundai Finance.

Hyundai Assurance joins an array of initiatives the company has launched in response to COVID-19. These include warranty and service extensions, offering six months complimentary roadside assistance to healthcare workers who drive a Hyundai, supporting essential service providers and healthcare workers with vehicle parts and servicing requirements, and providing customers with vehicle maintenance tips during lockdown.

Hyundai New Zealand’s COVID-19 response extends beyond vehicle support and advice to include the health and wellbeing of their customers. Using their partnership with Dr Tom Mulholland, Hyundai NZ is giving customers access to a free download of the KYND Wellness app, enabling them to monitor their own mental, physical and social health during these uncertain times.

Hyundai’s care isn’t limited to their direct customers either. Their support of the Student Volunteer Army through the supply of Hyundai vehicles is mobilising volunteers around the country to deliver groceries to those most in need.
