Wellington City Mission (WCM) and family-owned Brendan Foot Supersite (BFS) have joined forces to make a difference by helping our local community access the services they need.

Brendan Foot Supersite has kept the Wellington region moving for over 50 years and has provided WCM with 13 cars including three free ones to help the charity on their mission. Including the popular Suzuki Swift, GWM Jolion and Mitsubishi Outlander.

“Proudly born and bred in the Wellington region, our family is very grateful for the support from our local community. This is one of the ways we can connect and give back to other families who need a helping hand,” Dealer Principal David Foot said.

“Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for us as we enter into a three-year partnership with Brendan Foot Supersite (BFS),” Wellington City Missioner Murray Edridge said.

“This collaboration is more than a business alignment. It’s a partnership that shows both our organisation’s commitment and shared belief in making a lasting and positive impact in the lives of those in need,” Murray Edridge said.

“Thanks to the generosity of BFS we can continue to drive positive change in the community. These cars play a crucial role in enabling the delivery of essential services throughout the Wellington Region.

“This alliance came to light when the BFS team filled a boot-load of much-needed grocery items and delivered it to the shelves of the Wellington City Mission’s Social Supermarket.

“This experience was so meaningful for BFS that it fuelled a desire to seek out a partnership with WCM in the hopes that joining forces would drive more social good in our local community.

This collaboration exemplifies the power of businesses coming together for a shared purpose – making a positive impact and commitment to the community.

“We look forward to the journey ahead, creating a brighter future for Wellington with strong community partners,” Murray Edridge said.
