GET LOST

It’s not every day that a vehicle recognised as being a top model in its own right gets an extreme make over. But that’s what has happened to the Holden Colorado. It now rocks, or as it’s called – ROX.

The Colorado ROX is a one-of-a-kind concept ute. It’s road legal and custom-built to tackle the toughest conditions New Zealand can throw at it.

And it’ll be on display at Brendan Foot Supersite, starting with an extended weekend visit 5 to 10 December.

Underpinning the Rox is the immense 4×4 capability of the Holden Colorado LTZ, as well as its market-leading 3.5 tonne towing power, DuroGrip traction and up to 500Nm of torque. On top of that, New Zealand engineers and designers created something truly extraordinary. The resulting super truck is big, bold – and it ROX.

The super-truck features massive 35-inch Blackbear mud terrain tyres, with custom-made monster flares to house the huge wheels. A six-inch suspension and body lift raise the Colorado ROX towards the heavens, while ‘Rock Sliders’ with removable drop steps make getting in and out almost as easy as a standard Colorado.

The front of the Colorado ROX features a carbon fibre high-rise bonnet, complemented with a hand-crafted bespoke front steel bumper which is replicated at the back of the vehicle.

The exterior includes a rear deck cargo system and 500mm tray extender, together with a wrapping roof bar incorporating retractable lights and roof basket. The inside has been up-spec’d too, with the addition of front and rear RVE sports seats, complete with hand-built leather upholstery.

Come and see Colorado ROX for yourself at Brendan Foot Supersite – Wednesday 5 December to Tuesday 10 December.

If you purchase a Holden Colorado from us from 5-10 December. we will throw in a tow bar for free!
