Yes, we’re car enthusiasts, but more than that, we’re people people. We care about local families and give back to the community when possible.
Sponsorship
Brendan Foot Supersite has been a proud part of the Wellington region for years, and we’re grateful for the incredible support from our local community. Sponsorship is one of the ways we can connect and give back to families and not-for-profit organisations in our neighbourhood.
Wellington City Mission
In 2023, we joined forces with our friends The Wellington City Mission to drive change for good by helping the local community access essential services. We provided Wellington City Mission (WCM) with 13 cars, featuring a diverse range including the popular Suzuki Swift, GWM Jolion and Mitsubishi Outlander. Several of them were free to help support them on their mission.

This is one of the ways we can connect and give back to families who need a helping hand,” said David Foot. “This collaboration is more than a business alignment. It’s a partnership that shows both our organisation’s commitment and shared belief in making a lasting impact in the lives of those in need,” said Murray Edridge.
We’ll continue to support Wellington City Mission initiatives throughout the year and collaborate with their other sponsors.
Southern Cross Round the Bays Wellington
For the past 12 years, we’ve enjoyed sponsoring this iconic Wellington event. It’s a real community gathering, attracting over 10,000 people, along with their friends and families. You’ll see little ones as young as two months old in their buggies, and one year, we even had a 90-year-old lady join us for a stroll. It’s a wonderful mix of ages and energy!
As the official vehicle sponsor, you’ll see our cars setting the pace for the half-marathon runners and marking the route for everyone. Plus a display of all of our new and upcoming releases at the Finisher’s Festival in Kilbirnie Park. The next event will be in February 2025.
NZ Art Show
For over 14 years, we’ve been the Proud Gold sponsor of the NZ Art Show, the People’s Choice Award and Hyundai’s Emerging Artist Awards. This event is a must for all art lovers, offering a unique chance to meet some of New Zealand’s most promising and emerging artists. You’ll see their latest creations, from originals and prints, all up for grabs. Mark your calendar for the Kings Birthday Weekend, 31 May – 2 June 2024. The excitement is building, and we’re eagerly looking forward to it!
Wests Roosters Junior Rugby Club
Since 2022, we’ve been cheering on the next generation of future New Zealand rugby stars by sponsoring the Wests Roosters Junior Rugby team in Karori. We sponsor their jerseys and their big annual club day – it’s usually muddy, with around 200 juniors competing while their family and friends cheer them on from the sidelines. It’s a great day out, and we love being part of it!
