BFS Kids Cross Country SeriesWe are excited to announce our support of the Brendan Foot Supersite Kids Cross Country Series.

Athletics Wellington has run this fantastic series for children for five years in partnership with local clubs, and we are proud to join forces with them this year as naming sponsor.

Matthew Foot, Dealer Principal, is passionate about Wellington sport and is excited about supporting the stars of the future. “This series is hugely popular with children in the Wellington region and we’re really looking forward to adding it to our support of local sports and community events.”

“We are a family-owned business with a real family focus, and love the passion that comes from sport at all levels. Sponsoring the cross country series is a great fit for us.”

The event attracts hundreds of children all over the Wellington region – from Wainuiomata to Wadestown. There are five races in the series for children up to Year 8, including a race for those aged 4 and under. Children can enter as many events as they like.

Athletics Wellington Sport Development Manager Jo Murray is thrilled about Brendan Foot Supersite being involved. “It’s fantastic the way Brendan Foot Supersite gets in behind and supports their local community. We feel very privileged they have chosen our series to support.”

The series has a big focus on teams and Murray is telling parents to get their kids and their friends together so they can enter as a team.

“Kids love being part of a team and they can do this as part of our Kids Cross Country Series.”

Brendan Foot Supersite is also providing a prize for a team who competes in at least three of the Kids Cross Country Series events. The winning team will be drawn out of a hat at the last event with each team member receiving a trophy as well as entries to Adrenalin Forest.

There are five races in the series held on Sundays, starting this weekend on May 14 at Trentham Memorial Park. Entrants can enter one event or all five.
